Questions Businesses Actually Ask Us.

Not every question needs a 2,000-word article. Sometimes businesses just need a clear, practical answer.

There isn't one number that works for every business. We'd rather see a business produce useful content consistently than try to post every day and run out of things worth saying.

A well-planned filming session can often create enough material for several weeks of social media and video content, particularly when longer videos are broken into shorter useful pieces.

In most cases, yes. Social media can be very good at getting attention, but your website gives the business a digital presence that you control.

It can explain your services properly, demonstrate your work, answer customer questions and give people somewhere to take the next step. We generally see social media and the website as working together, rather than one replacing the other.

AI services can surface and reference businesses when answering some questions, but there isn't a button you can press that guarantees your business will be recommended.

What you can do is make your business clear, useful and easy to understand online. Good website content, consistent information about the business, genuine expertise, useful articles and authority across the web can all form part of a wider SEO and AEO strategy.

SEO is about improving how your business and website can be discovered through search engines. AEO — Answer Engine Optimisation — focuses more specifically on making information easy for search and AI-powered answer systems to understand and use when responding to questions.

We don't see them as competing strategies. Strong website structure, genuinely useful content, clear answers and recognised expertise can support both.

Sometimes. A website doesn't have to be limited to pages that customers read. Bespoke web applications can provide customer portals, staff dashboards, registration systems, booking systems, approval processes and other business tools.

That doesn't mean bespoke software is always the right answer. If an existing product already does exactly what you need, it may make more sense to use it. We look at the business problem first rather than automatically recommending another piece of software.

The important question is whether the employee can keep working while the problem is being fixed. That's why IT support isn't only about repairing computers after something goes wrong.

Backups, contingency planning, sensible hardware choices and access to support can reduce the disruption caused when a desktop or laptop fails.

We don't think websites should be rebuilt simply because a certain number of years have passed. A website should be reviewed when it no longer reflects the business, is difficult to manage, performs poorly on modern devices or no longer helps customers do what they need to do.

Sometimes the right answer is a redesign. Sometimes improving the existing website is enough.

If your customers regularly ask questions that are easier to explain or demonstrate on video, YouTube can make a lot of sense. It can be particularly useful for businesses with genuine expertise that people are already searching for.

The objective doesn't have to be becoming a YouTuber. It can simply be to build a useful library of videos that helps potential customers find, understand and trust your business.
